We believe that the church has one overwhelming mission. In Matthew 28:18-20 Jesus gave his final orders to the disciples before ascending into Heaven. He told them, “All authority on Heaven and on earth has been given to me; therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
We believe that the church is the primary avenue for making disciples, but also that every single Christian should be involved in fulfilling the great commission. That is why we give to organizations that send missionaries to the outermost parts of the world as well as empower our people to go to the ends of the earth.
