Solid Rock Church Life Groups

The “Life Group” Ministry of Solid Rock is a great place for everyone to get connected.   Our number one focus is to become more like Jesus by building a relationship with Him and others in groups of 3-12 people. Through a relationship with others we build community and experience life together where we are not alone. 

I once made the statement that “All I needed in my life was Jesus.” Of course how you look at that statement can be true but I was referring to relationships and God did not plan for us to go through our lives without each other.Years ago when I became a part of a Life Group God showed me how important it is to build close relationships with others. We often think that no one understands or has ever gone through what we are going through. In life groups we find out quickly that our life experiences are very similar. Through our growing relationship with God and others our lives can be transformed. I encourage everyone to be in a Life Group.

Life groups are not intense Bible studies but the Bible is central. They are not therapy groups or just a social gathering. We hope that our groups bring the truth of the Bible and life together. Friends are made, fun is had, and eating is a must. Our groups serve the community and church with different projects periodically throughout the year. These are just a few reasons to connect with a Life Group. Of course groups are biblical and the early church met in their homes and we follow that example. Our groups meet weekly and biweekly depending on the group and consist of couples, mixed groups, men and ladies groups of various ages.
